The traditional synthesis method of 3-oxy-4-phenyl-butyrate is in anhydrous ethanol, with ethyl acetoacetate and halogenated alkane as raw materials. In this paper, with ethyl acetoacetate and phenylacetyl chloride as starting materials, 3-oxy-4-phenyl-butyrate was prepared by continuous reaction, which can optimize the preparation process.
